Top Ten Books I’d Want On A Deserted Island!

Published September 9, 2014 by Kattie Sivley

booksThe Broke and the Bookish, came up with a wonderful feature called Top Ten Tuesday.  This week I am doing the Top Ten Books I’d Want On A Deserted Island!

This is super hard to pick, because these are presumably the only books you will have for a very, very long time, if not the only books forever! Yikes! How to choose!?! Some of these are probably cheating a little, because they are complete collections, but here are my Top Ten.

#1- 8 are all complete collections so you get more reading for each book.

The Vampire Chronicles, by Anne Rice
The Complete works of William Shakespeare
Seven Novels by Jane Austen
The Complete Tales of Edgard Allan Poe
The Complete Sherlock Holmes, by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and other works, by Lewis Carroll
The Complete Fiction by HP Lovecraft
The Brothers Grimm’s Fairy Tales

# 9 I would need to survive, literally

#10 Harry Potter! I can’t go forever without reading Harry Potter again! Technically it is 7 books, so if I had to pick 1 Harry Potter book I would pick The Goblet of Fire.
