So I found this thing on my iPad called iMovie, and it lets you make these movies or trailers from all the pictures and video clips that you have saved. Here is the video I made.
No, not the Barnes and Noble e-reader. Actual nooks where people can sit and read. Recently I did a post on book shelf love, and now is a time for book nook love.
I usually just sit around in my chair or on my bed, but, wow are these nooks amazing. I found these on Google and Pinterest Read the rest of this entry →
Recently I sent an email to one of my favorite bloggers, Jamie from perpetualpageturner.com to see if she would be willing to do an interview for this blog. SHE AGREED!!! I love me some bookshelf pictures. Have you seen Bookshelf Porn??? It is epic.
First of all I will show you my bookshelves which are arranged alphabetically by author. This is the only way I know how to find the books on the shelves or else it would be endless searching for, and probably forgetting books that I own. This year I have tried to read all of my books in alphabetical order, because at the beginning of the year I could not decide what I wanted to read. I’m on the letter C now, and it is August. I feel like I read a lot, but perhaps not, also I have a ton of books, and I make bi-weekly trips to Half Price Books with the intention of selling, and not buying, but always walk out with an arm load. For today’s installment of I made a thing….I made Duff Goldman Mint Chocolate Cookies! I found this cookie mix at Target, and decided I had to make these for Wade! He loves mint + chocolate.

It is hard to be super excited for your friends and family, when they are getting something you have wanted more than anything, and you can’t have it. Read the rest of this entry →

Robin Williams will always be my favorite nanny, teacher, genie, doctor, and the best board game player that ever lived. He was the best scientist, and science experiment. He was the boy who never grew up, and the boy who grew up too fast. He will be missed by all.
O Captain! My Captain! Rest in peace.
“Please, don’t worry so much. Because in the end, none of us have very long on this Earth. Life is fleeting. And if you’re ever distressed, cast your eyes to the summer sky when the stars are strung across the velvety night. And when a shooting star streaks through the blackness, turning night into day, make a wish, and think of me. Make your life spectacular.”
Robin Williams (Jack)
